Preschool Room
Our youngest children are safe, loved, and discipled by caring volunteers. Children ages 1-4 years enjoy a circle time with a Bible lesson from Read-Aloud Bible Stories, complete with a treasure chest moment, songs, and activities that correspond to each lesson. Elementary Children's Worship
Children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade are dismissed from the Sanctuary during the worship service for a discipleship time based on The Gospel Project Kids curriculum with music, a thoughtful Bible lesson, and an interactive activity. They are dismissed during the sermon as a group and are returned to their parents in the Sanctuary at the “passing of the peace” time of the service. Lessons and supplies are prepped in advance for our screened and trained volunteers who always serve in teams. See Children’s Ministry for more information.

Youth Ministry
HopePointe Youth Ministry (HPYM) aims to disciple students in both the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ and to equip them to proclaim the Gospel through their words and lives. Every Sunday evening throughout the school year, our 6th through 12th graders gather for HPYM, a time of fellowship, study, worship, and prayer. Throughout the year, students participate in retreats, social events, and service together!

Children's Ministry Parents
In this group, parents learn about upcoming events, announcements, and all the fun things happening in Children's and Youth’s Ministries at HopePointe. It is co-led by John Colvin and Terrice Tinsley. As co-directors of Family Life, John and Terrice support parents in discipling their children and youth by providing trainings and one on one meetings.

Children of Light Choir
"Children of Light," is HopePointe's children's choir! Each fall and spring Austin Hunt rehearses with children on Wednesdays at 5:15 pm at HopePointe. These rehearsals will culminate in a performance during one of our 10:00am Sunday worship services, usually in Advent for the fall session or Mother’s Day for the spring session.
We accept all children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. No prior experience is necessary—only a heart for singing! This program is 100% FREE. Feel free to invite neighbors, friends, and classmates! Registration will open soon.

Junior Acoyltes
Acolytes assist the celebrant in the processions, which help the church rightly focus on the beauty of the Lord Jesus. We encourage our children ages 3rd grade to 8th grade to serve the Lord by becoming a Junior Acoylte. Look for more information about Junior Acoylte training in the fall.
Please arrive at 9:45 AM to check in your child at the Children’s Ministry Station and receive a security tag.
Nursing Moms: Rocking chairs and changing tables are available in the women’s restroom and in the Little Sprouts Infant & Toddler Room.
Little Sprouts Infant & Toddler Room: 6 months to age 2
Our littles are happy exploring this quiet room staffed with caring, screened, and trained members of our Children’s Ministry Team. Children may be dropped off at their classroom before the worship service and picked up either at Communion or at the conclusion of the service.
Seedlings Preschool Room: 2 to 4 years
Our preschool children are safe, loved, and discipled by caring, screened, and trained members of our Children’s Ministry Team. Children enjoy circle time with a Bible lesson from Read-Aloud Bible Stories, by Ella K. Lindvall, complete with a treasure chest moment, songs, and activities that correspond to each lesson. Children may be dropped off at their classroom before the worship service and picked up either at Communion or at the conclusion of the service.
Elementary Children’s Worship: K-2nd Grade & 3rd-5th Grade
Elementary children are dismissed during the worship service for age-appropriate discipleship time based on The Gospel Project Kids curriculum. Our caring, screened, and trained volunteers lead the children in a treasure chest guess, thoughtful Bible lesson discussion, and an interactive activity! They are dismissed during the sermon as a group and are returned to their parents in the Sanctuary at the “passing of the peace.”
*In accordance with the Diocese’s Safe Church Policies & Procedures Manual, all HopePointe Family Life Ministry volunteers are required to be screened and trained before they may begin their volunteer Family Life Ministry service.
