Modern Music Ministry at the 9:00 Sunday Service

Our 9:00 service music is led by a band and uses modern music and hymns in worship.  If you are an instrumentalist or vocalist and would like to get involved with our worship team, please contact Jessica Wilson at jessica@hopepointe.org or call 281.788.2397

Traditional Music Ministry at the 11:00 Sunday Service

Hope-Choire.jpg

Our traditional music ministry features an inter-generational choir (called HopeChoire), made up of high school students through seniors, and we are always welcoming new members.  The HopeChoire leads worship at the 11:00 traditional worship service and other occasional and festival services during the church year.  HopeChoire sings choral anthems and more major works of a variety of styles and composers, ancient classics through contemporary classical composers, as well as modern hymn and song arrangements.

We rehearse Sunday mornings at 9:30 prior to the traditional worship service.  In addition we generally rehearse first Wednesday evenings of the month 6:30pm - 8:00pm.  Additional rehearsals are called when necessary to prepare for special liturgical offerings.

We also seek to utilize instruments as much as possible, whether it be trumpet, flute, violin, cello, percussion, etc., so please let us know if you play an instrument.

Finally, we sponsor the Woodlands Boys Choir, which is made up of talented, auditioned boys ages 7 - 13.  To learn more, please visit our website at www.woodlandsboyschoir.org.

Questions? Please contact our Organist-Choirmaster, Sherry Pond, if you are interested in singing or playing an instrument at sherry@hopepointe.org.  We welcome you!
