At HopePointe we have many different types of men: men who are obsessed with sports, and those who have never cared, men who hope to get married one day, and others who have been married over 60 years, men who have always been a Christian, and others who are just investigating.
One thing remains the same for each of us: being a man is complicated. Men face all kinds of challenges, especially in our faith, work and relationships. How are we supposed to take these on? Where can we find the inspiration we need? And the most important question of all, who was Jesus Christ, and what does he have to show us about what it means to be a man? Join us from 7pm-8:30pm, the first Thursday of each month, for Titus Men - an opportunity for discussion, encouragement, and teaching as we begin a conversation on “Godly Masculinity”.
The remaining 2015-2016 schedule is as follows:
- February 4th - the Roeske Residence, 42 Golden Place, The Woodlands
- March 3rd
- April 7th
- May 5th
- June 2nd
For any other questions, please contact Father Bryan White.
upcoming events: Men's advance 16'
Our One Mission Partner church, WoodsEdge, is holding it's annual Men's advance retreat. Taking place among the scenic lake and forest at the Carolina Creek Christian Camp in Huntsville, TX. The 2016 Men's Advance will help men discover the next steps to grow in their relationship with Jesus, to lead within their homes and families, and to love and serve communities they live and work in.
This event was a great time of growth and of a deepening of their relationship with Christ for many HopePointe men who attended in previous years.
Registration is available at the WoodsEdge website (http://www.woodsedge.org/event/783280-2016-02-19-mens-advance-2016/).
